Blog- Lollipop, Android 5.1 version rolls up for the Xperia Z Series and some others too

Sony, the very active Korean company of electronic gadgets has now decided to introduce Android 5.1, Lollipop upgradation for its very known and liked Sony Xperia phones such as Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact, Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z2 Tablet.
When the combination of the Google’s latest Lollipop release with our Sony software is done, it then results with some liked goodies which include;

Increased customization options – This opts you to have a better control over the volume, silent modes and your alerts function of your phones.
Brand new LinkedIn integration – It also enhances your phone with more creative with intuitive contact synchronization in your Calendar.
Camera improvements – Although the cameras are awesome in these phones, this Android 5.1 version makes it faster and more accurate with Superior Auto Mode focus for great images.
Enhanced enterprise support – With the introduction of android 5.1 version, the Business features of these phones gets uplifted.
Smart Wear integration – On this enhancing mode the selfie snapping is becoming easier with Smart Watch 3 as a remote shutter button
Android 5.0, Lollipop rolls for the Xperia Z Series, Android 5.1 coming for Xperia M2 and Xperia M2 Aqua.
You might’ve seen our Android 5.0, Lollipop upgrade start for Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR and Xperia Tablet Z – it just keeps on rolling out as we speak to more and more markets worldwide.
And now that Android 5.0, Lollipop upgrades are rolling across regions for all our Xperia Z, Z1, Z2 and Z3 products, what’s next?
It has been seen that fevered raft of feedback and requests is being extended for the Android Lollipop roll out to other products in the portfolio – so, Sony is happy to announce that the company will be bumping Xperia M2 and Xperia M2 Aqua directly to Android 5.1. The upgrade will start a little after for the Xperia Z Series.
Xperia Z1, Xperia Z1 Compact and Xperia Z Ultra are next up, starting over the coming weeks – followed shortly thereafter by Xperia T2 Ultra and Xperia C3, then the original Xperia Z Series… with Xperia M2 and Xperia M2 Aqua after that.
