Samsung is that company, which has been ranked at the top because of having many users. It is a company which that has delivered a huge range of all type of phones starting from the feature phone to the Smartphone. With its new addition it is also advancing all its features like processor, camera quality, Android operating system, its music system, screen size, memory, internal memory, storage, battery, internet connectivity, navigation and many other features.
With the new and upgraded versions of Android, the smartphones are also getting smarter and handier. Similarly, while going through some galaxy tab blog, I came to know that Android 5 Lollipop is now also available for its two other Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 P3110 and P3100, the users need to thank cyanogen mod team’s hard work and enthusiasm that released CM12 for Galaxy Tab 2. For those who do not know CM is based on AOSP project which takes contributions from myriad talented people. It is possible to use this ROM without any Gapp installed but you can always add them later if you need them.
To get this in your handset, follow the below instructions for installation:
- Copy GApps and CM-Rom ZIPs to your internal SD Card (download links given at the bottom of this post)
- Boot into custom philz recovery (vol up and power button together)
- Wipe data factory reset
- Wipe cache
- Wipe dalvic cache
- Format system
- Flash CM-Rom ZIP from internal SD Card
- Flash GApps zip from internal SD Card
- Reboot
- Don’t restore system data using Titanium Backup
Lastly, I would like to add that Restoring Apps + Data might cause problems and is not recommended; avoid it if possible for the tabs like P3100, P3110 and P3113.
